Arrival: June 12, 2027 (For out of town residents)

The airport is only a short 15-minute Uber or Lyft drive from the dorms. We do not provide transportation.

• Check-in for the dorms starts at 9 am on June 13th, but you will be able to check in at any time, even late at night. If there are flight delays, cancellations, etc., we will handle those on a case-by-case basis. We understand that air travel can be tricky.

• If you need to arrive earlier the dorms can sometimes accommodate early arrivals for an additional fee.

Dorm Information:

• Check-in starts at 9 am on Saturday, June 12th. Check-out time is 2pm on June 28th. When checking out, please sign out in the Atrium and return your keycard. Remember not to take your key card with you when leaving, as a $100 charge will apply.

• We understand that some participants may have later flights on June 28th. You will be allowed to stay in the dorm's common area, use the pool, or practice until your departure. Please note that we do not provide a shuttle service to the airport on Monday. However, shared Uber or Lyft rides are cost-effective transportation options to the airport.

• Accommodations will be at Homan Hall (subject to change). All participants must complete the roommate/dorm preference form so that we can assign roommates. If you already have a roommate preference, please indicate it in the form. Rooms are typically double occupancy, but single rooms may be available depending on space, with an additional charge for single occupancy. • Linens, towels, and pillows will be provided and changed midway through the festival. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor for your convenience.

• Each room is equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, and there is a fully equipped community kitchen available. Practice in the dorms is allowed until 10 pm.

• Festival Health, Safety, and Substance Policy

  The festival is hosted on a California State University campus and strictly adheres to systemwide university mandates, state regulations, and federal laws.

  • Strictly Prohibited Substances: In compliance with CSU Executive Order 1108 and federal campus regulations, alcohol, recreational drugs, illegal substances, and all forms of smoking or tobacco use (including e-cigarettes, vapes, and chewing tobacco) are strictly prohibited anywhere on campus or within the residence halls. This prohibition includes medical or recreational cannabis, which remains restricted on university property under federal law.

  • Permitted Over-the-Counter & Prescription Medications: Legally prescribed medications and standard over-the-counter remedies (e.g., allergy medications, pain relievers) are fully permitted.

  • Medication Safety & Verification: To protect the safety of all attendees and streamline security checkpoints, all prescription medications must be kept in their original pharmacy containers clearly labeled with the attendee’s legal name, matching their festival registration ID.

  The festival reserves the right to remove any participant found in violation of university safety policies without a refund.

• The dorm fee does not include meals. Meals will be available for purchase on campus, but there are many options both on and off campus. We have observed that the university's full meal plan is quite expensive, and there are cheaper options available on and off campus.

• Please note that not all meals will be provided by the festival.

Arrival: June 13 (For Local Students)

You will arrive on Sunday, June 13th to register and to play your seating auditions. You will be notified of the chosen repertoire approximately two weeks before the festival.
