  • FOOSA Philharmonic Program

Our FOOSA Philharmonic is a pre-professional orchestra that allows advanced musicians of graduate school, college, and high school age* to enjoy a side-by-side performance experience with our internationally renowned faculty members.

*A select number of exceptionally advanced younger pre-college students may be offered spots in the FOOSA Philharmonic. For the most part, students in this age group will be steered to our new FOOSA Symphony Program. In all cases, eligibility will be decided on the basis of submitted audition videos and teacher recommendations.

Musicians will not only play in an orchestra but will also perform chamber music, gaining valuable mentorship and insight. Additionally, participants will act as coaches to younger musicians, sharing their expertise and reinforcing their knowledge of technique and musicianship.

The program will conclude with an exciting concert at the Paul Shaghoian Memorial Concert Hall, showcasing the talents and hard work of the FOOSA Symphony.
