Leo Kim, Half-Day String Program

 

Cellist Leo Kim has recently completed graduate studies at the California State University, Fresno. He received his primary instruction from the late Pearl Winter, with subsequent instruction from Nancy Skei and Dr. Angela Beeching. He has performed in master classes taught by Tsuyoshi Tsustumi, Emilio Colon, and Wendy Warner, and is currently a student of Dr. Thomas Loewenheim. Kim maintains a large studio of private students and served as principal cello instructor of the Half-Day String Program for FOOSA 2014. Kim is on the faculty at University High School in Fresno. He plays an 1846 Thomas Kennedy cello.
