Our FOOSA Half-Day Program is a commuter program (participants attend only from 9a-1p each day) for younger and/or less advanced players, appropriate for elementary through high school students who play violin, viola, cello, or double bass. We do have spaces for wind and brass players too! Feel free to REGISTER HERE TO PARTICIPATE IN FOOSA HALF-DAY 2017.

Participants enjoy

  • daily orchestra rehearsals

The FOOSA Festival takes place on the Fresno State campus.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: Anyone is welcome to apply--audition videos will determine proper placement.

Musicians accepted into this program enjoy daily group lessons with our outstanding faculty, as well as sectionals and orchestra/ensemble rehearsals. They will perform in student recitals and in the final concert at Fresno State. Students in this program attend classes from 9am-1pm every day. There is no residential component of this program--commuters only.

Loved the faculty and the great job they did. I feel my kids experienced wonderful growth from this experience.

Fun, upbeat songs!

Thank you. We just can’t thank you enough. You are all amazing, unforgettable and loved!
